Welcome to my web portfolio, which showcases my talent in Ruby on Rails, CSS, Ajax, web standards, web application development and my love for the internet and website technologies. I currently work at Graphika Studioz located in the Parksville, Qualicum Beach area. I’ve got a Diploma in Digital Media Studies from Malaspina University College (now => Vancouver Island University) in Nanaimo, British Columbia, (Completed with high marks). I completed a Ruby On Rails course in April and have since started doing all my development in Ruby, with a move from PHP.

I really love developing and designing websites using the Rails framework. I use Ruby on Rails because of it’s clean organized code and its ability to get things done quick. I can build powerful web applications that use to take weeks or months to develop in a matter of days. I use tools like jQuery and Prototype along side CSS and put extra effort into every little detail.

If I’m not developing or designing for the web I’m usually playing guitar, enjoying the outdoors, playing fastball, fishing, snowboarding, sledding, traveling or hanging out with friends. I also really like shooting film, editing, and creating digital animations with Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Maya. I’m not just a web developer, I’m also a professional video producer, video editor and 3D animation and modeling specialist!
