I’ve been trying to find these images for a long time. I thought I lost them, but I found them and now they are not lost anymore? Haha. They are a couple of Mental Ray renders I did in Maya last year. One of my first real attempts at creating a realistic model. I eventually used this model in the Maya animation on my Video page.
Maya mental ray photorealistic scene project
During the last few weeks I’ve been working on a site for the company I work for right now. I’ve created a realistic room scene in Maya that I render using Mental Ray exporting as tif files, then import into combustion, add some cool effects, then export as quicktime, then import to AE CS3 then export as swf, then import into Flash for some interactivity fun…. Wpheee! It’s been a big project but after it’s done it’s going to be pretty awsome. The scene has an interactive drawer and a fish, which you can’t see here, that you can play with. The black stuff on the wall and tv are for some goodies I’ll be adding in Flash.
