Subtle Gradient has a post about pimping out your favorite mac os apps ui’s. Think I’ll be hitting up the hack for my Text Mate ui. I hate that the fonts and colors in the drawer don’t match my editing area and I also hate how small the fonts are. I have my fonts jacked up to 16 so that I don’t throw my back out every time I want to code from leaning into my computer screen!
Create TextMate todo list to keep track of your work
TextMate has some really cool features including the create TODO:, FIXME: and CHANGED: list. Have you ever had an application in development and were working on a block of code then had to go away or go work on another file, but wanted to remember that you still had to go back and finished that block of code? Or have you ever wanted to develop parts of your code further later down the road? Or have you ever scripted something that didn’t work right but got frusturated and left it for a while only to try and go back to it but forgot where it was? TextMate desktop shortcut image
I just made a switch to TextMate for my editor of choice and found a sweet shortcut png file for my desktop. When ever I need it I just use expose on my MacBook Pro and walla! Easy shortcut help. Makes life so easy breezy.
